The Customer

As a customer you will be able to make more of an informed choice about the trader you choose for the job you want doing. By searching our Database and reading reviews you should be able to find a suitable trader.

When the trader has completed their work they may ask you for a review. Not all customers will be asked for a review to enable the trader to gain a variety of reviews over a period of time.

To add a review, the trader will give you a Unique Review ID Number which will only work for that trader. You will then need to register with the honest trader website using a current valid email address. Once setup you can enter the review using this account which is completely FREE, secure and has NO commitment attached. You can end this account at any time.

All reviews printed will only contain the Initial and Surname of the Reviewer and details concerning the job done.

The Trader

As a trader and a member of honest trader you will get:

• A place in the honest trader directory
• Detailed information about you and your company
• 30 Unique Review ID Numbers Each Month to hand out to your Customers
• A website link to any existing web site you already own
• An email Link to your existing email account
• Updated reviews from your customers
• Information regarding your links with other organisations and standards agencies
  

All of this information is extremely valuable. Customers will respect your honesty and ability in different areas so they can make a truly informed choice.

To add your company or business you will need to register and create an account using a valid email address. When you have activated your membership you will be able to edit and update your own account when you want and include the latest information about you.

Once you have an Active Listing in the directory you can request your Unique Review ID Numbers. These are the numbers you give to your customers when a job or service has been complete. You will be able to request 30 ID Numbers each month and these numbers will be exclusive to you and your company.

These Unique ID Numbers will be emailed to you in a pdf attachment which you can print out when you want. Each Review ID Number can only be used once.
